Depending on fence style, additional spacing may be required between fences. Additionally, the direction the fence faces may be impacted by a neighboring fence as our installers will require approximately 2ft of clearance when installing wood fence pickets on the outside of the fence.

Yes, Big Jerry’s Fencing offers repairs on fences installed by us or a competitor. Depending on the situation, we may determine that a repair is not practical, and a replacement fence is needed.
Note – all repairs have a minimum service charge.
This will vary by location and is dependent on the fence type, as some fence styles allow for a quicker installation than others. Most of our crews can install approximately 150ft of vinyl & wood fences per day and upwards of 300+ feet per day for aluminum and chain link. If you have a specific timing need, please discuss this with your local Big Jerry’s Fencing representative.
Rich and his wife Chris Pepe, are the owners/operators of Big Jerry’s Fencing of Harnett County, NC. Rich comes to the fencing industry after 35+ years of experience as an IT executive running global operations and engineering for large enterprises. This is his second experience with entrepreneurship as he started his own IT services company in 2014. Chris worked as an executive assistant and program manager with a focus on IT and Finance, became a stay-at-home mom for 17 years, then rejoined the workforce and still works part-time at her local church.
Rich grew up in New York City, served one tour in the Navy, then started his IT career. Rich and Chris met in Connecticut and followed career opportunities relocating to Colorado and California and eventually settling in North Carolina. They value relationships, loyalty, attention to detail, customer service, and honoring their word.
Rich and Chris share an enthusiasm for spending time with their children, watching movies, and going out with friends. He enjoys using his free time to play softball, shooting, and fishing; meanwhile, she loves to cook and bake and is a research and Excel-based analysis expert. When asked to name someone they admire, Rich responded with General George S. Patton for his patriotism, tenacity, and ability to overcome challenges (he was dyslexic!). Meanwhile, Chris admires Mother Theresa for her unwavering faith.
Three words that Rich would use to describe himself are dependable, loyal, and thoughtful, while Chris described herself as compassionate, kind, and loyal. You can usually find them in church on Sunday mornings with their family.
