Vanessa and Juan are the new owners of Big Jerry’s Fencing Tampa. Juan was born in the Dominican Republic and came to the U.S. in 2002 after a short career with the Los Angeles Dodgers Rookie League. Unfortunately, it was cut short due to two unsuccessful Tommy John surgeries, but this did not stop his drive. He quickly adapted to his life in the U.S. and joined the warehouse logistics industry for more than eight years. He later obtained his commercial driver’s license and started trucking in 2010 and has gained wide knowledge and experience being an owner-operator and also working in the paper delivery industry.
Vanessa was born in New York and grew up in the Northeast, and moved to Florida in 2001. She has 14 years of customer service experience and, most recently, supply chain purchasing experience for over eight years. Vanessa and Juan have been married for 14 years and have two pre-teen boys. In their free time, they enjoy spending quality time with family and traveling.
Vanessa and Juan decided to pursue entrepreneurship in 2022 after meeting with Big Jerry. They are ecstatic about partnering with such a successful company that focuses on providing the best customer service to their customers and are looking forward to keeping that momentum going.
