Fence Height Regulations
Fences and walls can not exceed 4 feet in the front yard. For side or rear yards, the fence cannot exceed 8 feet in height. Gates in front yards may be up to 6 feet tall.
Design Requirements
Any fence or wall over 3 feet tall needs a column or decorative element at least every 8 linear feet along its length to enhance its appearance.
